On Commonwealth Radio
Music around the clock out of Midoriheiki. The Auto DJ runs the rotation. When a DJ connects, the studio sign turns red and the show is theirs until they sign off. Anyone can put a song in the queue from the request line.
Minecraft has no radio block, so the station plays alongside the game. Turn Minecraft's Music slider to OFF under Options > Music & Sounds, or two soundtracks play at once. Leave Hostile Creatures up. You still want to hear a creeper.

The next seven days, in your own clock. LIVE slots are DJs. The rest are Auto DJ playlists. Any empty hour plays the general rotation. A DJ who connects outside their slot takes the air anyway.

A request joins the queue behind the current song, and shows up in the playlist window as [REQ] when it airs. The station limits how often you can ask and how soon a song can repeat. When it says no, its reason is printed above word for word. Requests wait while a DJ is live.
Get on the air
Tanuki Broadcasting gives DJs a streamer account. Ask the station for one. Connect, and the Auto DJ fades out and the studio sign turns red for every listener. Disconnect, and the rotation picks up again by itself.

8005 is AzuraCast's DJ port for the first station on a server, five above the listener port 8000. If the station profile in AzuraCast says otherwise under Broadcasting > DJ/Streamer, it is right and this page is wrong.
From a browser
AzuraCast's Web DJ page is at /public/commonwealth_radio/dj. It only works over HTTPS. Browsers will not hand a microphone to a plain-HTTP page, and the page gives no error when that happens.
About the station
Tanuki Broadcasting is a private corporation in Midoriheiki, the settlement formerly called the Standing Stones. The Commonwealth's CivWiki article still lists it as Standing Stones Reserve. It is the same place. The station is the company's, not a government service.
The Commonwealth is a monarchy on CivMC, founded 6 June 2022, with its capital at Mount Olympus near -4000, 0. It governs through a House of Elders, a House of Lords and a Prime Minister. Its motto is To Live Without Fear – Vivre Sans Peur, and it speaks English, French and Tagalog. The rest of the nation's story, and who holds office now, is on its CivWiki article.
The set
Everything on the player comes out of the station's own AzuraCast every 15 seconds. The spectrum is drawn from the audio you are actually hearing, not faked. It is 76×16 pixels, the same as Winamp's, doubled. It stays dark when the stream will not let the page read it.
